We're seeing crosses everywhere these days, especially in the fashion
industry. The crucifix has long been the symbol of Christianity,
controversy, loving sacrifice, and redemption.
Crosses used to be worn
only by true believers of Christ thousands of years ago. Nowadays, the
cross is worn by everyone regardless of their faith. To a Christian, it represents the gift of everlasting life and encouragement to
emulate Jesus. To the fashionista and atheist, it’s an accessory, and to
Satanist’s, it’s a symbol of evil’s victory over good.
It
seems like every several years the commercialization of the cross seems
to emerge. While some may not agree with the commercialization of the
crucifix, others think it is okay as long as the heart or the intent is
to glorify God. Either way, crosses are a 'pop culture' trend today.
We've
always believed that what you wear is a reflection of how you feel, an
expression of who you are, and a platform to proclaim your convictions.
Personally, we rock the symbol of the cross because we're cool with Jesus.
