(MIAMI) May 1, 2013 – Art, history and culture are ingrained in every Greater Miami and the Beaches experience from sipping mojitos amidst iconic Art Deco buildings and strolling through murals along the Wynwood Walls to exploring the emerging Design District and browsing during Art Basel.  To celebrate its rich attractions and evolving art scene, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) brings Miami Museum Month to visitors and residents again this May 1 – 31:

  •        BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE (BOGO): An ideal time to add a museum visit to your vacation or business trip itinerary or for families to spice up weekend plans, the "Buy One, Get One Free" gives admission to two for the price of one to any participating museum.
  •        JOIN ONE, SEE THEM ALL: Absolutely the best time to join! When purchasing a membership at any one of the participating museums you can visit any of the other participating museums for free during Miami Museum Month. This saves visitors more than $50 per adult.

“The diverse experience that Greater Miami and the Beaches offers to our business and leisure visitors continues to evolve and it’s wonderful to see the growing popularity of our museums and cultural attractions,” notes GMCVB President and CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME.   “While visitors continue to enjoy our year-round sunshine and stunning beaches, we gladly welcome them to stay longer to enjoy more of what the destination has to offer – restaurants, nightlife, hotels, and spas as well as our new, emerging and heritage neighborhoods.”
